Sunday Thoughts: Resisting the machine, cultural amnesia, and 'climate delusions'
Iain McGilchrist, JP Morgan, Europe's destiny
Hello class mates. This week’s reading list sees me preoccupied with an elegy for Britain, the political mood in the United Kingdom, France, and the European Union, as well as fairly typical thinking class preoccupations such as climate change, specifically regarding the fast changing consensus on the topic within the financial services industry in addition to some rather out there crazy geo-engineering ideas, which are backed by big institutional players and high net worth individuals. Links to this week’s podcast below with a very special guest and one of Substack’s favourite sons. I also issue a call to arms to my Substack subscribers.
